Apple has just announced that watchOS 4, the next version of its smartwatch platform, will be arriving later this fall. It includes new features for watchfaces, such as complications updating based on time of day or location, and a new Siri-based watchface.
The Siri watchface uses machine learning to determine what information is most useful to you at a given point in time. That information can include flight boarding passes, time of sunset, or smart home control.
we recommend that you use Safari to install it on your iOS device, as there doesn’t seem to be a way to install a watchOS profile onto an Apple Watch from a computer. Just visit this page on your iOS device to do that.
According to Apple’s release notes, tvOS 11 brings automatic light/dark appearance switching, Home screen syncing potions, new background modes and notification support, Focus API improvements, custom sound support, network-based pairing and development support, and improvements to Mobile Device Management.
t’s easier if you install the file from your Apple TV instead. To do that, just go into the Settings app and choose General > Privacy and hover over Send to Apple without pressing it. Then press the Play/Pause button on your remote and click Add Profile on the hidden menu that appears. In the text field that pops up, type http://dl.techxero.com/AppleDev/iOS11/tvos.mobileconfig and press OK. When you are prompted to reboot do so. The software should then appear in Settings > System > Software Update. Additionally, you can still download the file to your computer for manual installation.
