I have owned a MacBook for a while now, and I have always had Windows installed on it via BootCamp, but as you know this method forces us to partition our internal drive to allocate space for Windows. Same with VMs somewhat. Which, to me is kinda annoying since modern MacBooks are lacking in the storage department.
So I started asking myself the question, whether or not we could install a “BootCamp” Windows on an external drive. Wouldn’t it be cool if we could ? Seems that it is so possible and easy too. My buddy @JeffBenjam wrote a very simple guide over at 9to5mac.com.
He also made a video which I will attach below as well as a link to written guide. Reason am keeping this here is so I, as well as others can easily find it 😉
